Payroll Reporting of Contributions

Reporting Member Contributions to STRS Ohio
Payroll reports must be submitted to STRS Ohio using one of the following methods:

• E-mail using Transport Layer Security (TLS) with Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) — the file must be in the required file layout and include information required by STRS Ohio.
• A file sent via file transfer protocol (ftp) — the file must be in the required file layout and include information required by STRS Ohio.
• Data entry on the STRS Ohio Employer Web Site — employers must register for access to the secured Employer Account Information area of the STRS Ohio Employer Web Site.

If a payroll report has been sent in error or is incorrect, contact STRS Ohio immediately regarding resubmission of the data.
