Service Credit
Service credit is reported as a percentage of 1.00 full year and is granted for service from July 1 through June 30 of each year in accordance with State Teachers Retirement Board Rule 3307:1-2-01.

The following service credit calculators have been created to assist employers in determining service credit based on one of the following calculation methods:

Full-time — based on number of days worked.

Part-time — based on number of days worked.

Part-time — based on number of hours worked.

Percent of full-time equivalent (FTE) by semester.

Percent of full-time equivalent (FTE) by quarter.
