2002 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report

Each year STRS Ohio develops a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report that provides financial, investment, statistical and actuarial information about the system in a single publication. As noted in the publication, STRS Ohio works with the following professional consultants:

  • Investment Consultants — Frank Russell Company Consulting, Tacoma, Wash. 
  • Actuarial Consultants — Buck Consultants, Chicago, Ill.

2002 Defined Contribution Investments Annual Report

This report is intended to provide investment information and results from July 1, 2001–June 30, 2002, for STRS Ohio’s defined contribution account investment choices.

The report is divided into four sections:

  1. the Introductory Section that includes a report on defined contribution account asset values and investment performance;
  2. the Economic and Financial Markets Overview Section that describes economic changes that potentially impacted the investment market;
  3. the Performance Section that describes each investment choice and highlights the past year’s performance; and
  4. the Disclosure Section that includes key rules, concepts and definitions of terms used throughout the report.
