Benefit Information Meeting

We recommend the Benefit Information Meeting especially for:

• Active teachers early in their careers — to become familiar with STRS Ohio’s benefits, and

• Active teachers who are nearing retirement — to review the current benefits package.

This one-hour program covers the basics about service retirement, purchasable service credit, disability protection, survivor benefits, and health care coverage and retirement incentive plans. We will also review new and pending legislation that may affect your retirement.
