Compensation
Supplemental Salaried Teaching Service
Compensation received as a result of reimbursement from a contracted
third party or agency for supplemental services rendered in addition
to the full-time contracted work period or workload will be subject
to contributions to STRS Ohio as provided in Section 3307.01(L)(1) and
3307.26, Revised Code. Contributions can be remitted on compensation
up to the amount that, when combined with employer-paid earnings, equals
the member’s annualized contract.
Annualized contract may be defined as four quarters or 12 months in duration for retirement contribution purposes.
