Online Calculators
STRS Ohio employer reporting requirements, policies and procedures can be complicated. In addition to its yearly Employer Workshops and regular employer updates through newsletters, bulletins and the Employer Manual, STRS Ohio has developed several online calculators to assist in computing reportable information.
Service Credit Calculators
Service credit is reported as a percentage of 1.00 full year and is
granted for service from July 1 through June 30 of each year in accordance
with State
Teachers Retirement Board Rule 3307:1-2-01. These caculators can
help you figure service credit for a variety of situations.

Use this calculator to determine the amount of member contributions
required for a member to receive service credit for a current absence
