Retirement Board Election Results

On Saturday, May 10, 2008, the results of the State Teachers Retirement Board election were certified by tellers designated by each candidate and a representative of the Secretary of State. The result of the election for the contributing member seat on the Retirement Board is as follows:

• Tim Myers, 26,760 votes

• Dan J. Vincent, 5,741 votes

• Write-Ins, 93 votes

The term of office for Tim Myers begins on Sept. 1, 2008, and ends on Aug. 31, 2012.
