RFP — Administrative Services for Health Care Coverage Program

The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio, the School Employees Retirement System of Ohio and the Ohio Highway Patrol Retirement System (Retirement Systems), announce that they are collectively issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain proposals from qualified Administrators to provide administrative services for the health care coverage programs the systems provide to their Participants beginning in 2010. While the RFP is a collective effort, each Retirement System will independently/individually review the responses, select and negotiate agreements with an Administrator(s).

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a global professional services firm, has been retained by the Retirement Systems to provide health care consulting and actuarial services in support of this RFP process.

The RFP process will be conducted using the HighRoads web-based vendor selection application. Contact Pamela Ashbourne at PwC if you need additional information or further clarification on the RFP or if you would like to have access to the RFP via the HighRoads application.
