Petitions Available for Spring Retirement Board Election

In the May 2007 Retirement Board election, one contributing STRS Ohio member will be elected to the board. The four-year term for this seat begins on Sept. 1, 2007, and ends on Aug. 31, 2011.  Candidates for this position must file petitions with the executive director of STRS Ohio no later than 4:30 p.m. EST, on Feb. 23, 2007, to establish eligibility for candidacy. Petition forms can be obtained from STRS Ohio by calling toll-free 1-888-285-2192.  The Election Notice provides additional information about the petition process.
