The Retirement Board and associates of STRS Ohio join with other members of the education community in mourning the loss of Tom Mooney, president of the Ohio Federation of Teachers, who passed away on Dec. 3. Tom was a strong and tireless advocate for Ohio’s public educators. His work on their behalf cannot be measured due to its immensity, but it can be greatly appreciated and admired by us all. He will be missed, but we know his spirit will propel others to carry on his mission.
