Health care premiums have been set for 2009. All health care plans offered this year are available again in 2009. There are no changes in medical or prescription drug coverage for 2009 in the plans offered by STRS Ohio.

In late October, all current enrollees will receive personalized information that outlines their 2009 plan options and monthly premiums. Open enrollment will run from Nov. 1 through Nov. 25, 2008. During the open-enrollment period, STRS Ohio benefit recipients and their eligible dependents may change their health care plan for 2009 or join a plan if they are not currently enrolled.
