Our programs for retired members can help you maximize your retirement income, understand Medicare and learn more about your health care plan. How do I register for a seminar?

Advance registration is required and begins 45 days prior to all seminar dates. Space is limited and registration is first-come. You can register at www.strsoh.org via your Online Personal Account or by calling STRS Ohio at 888-227-7877 (toll-free).

May I bring a guest to a seminar?

Yes. However, space is often limited, so we ask that members bring no more than one guest, please.

How much do the seminars cost?

Seminars are offered at no cost to members and their guests.

How do I cancel my registration?

You can cancel your registration either online or by calling 888‑227‑7877.

Four Tips for a Successful Retirement

  1. Stay on top of STRS Ohio news and information

    Read STRS Ohio newsletters and correspondence and be sure to notify STRS Ohio if your home address, email address or phone number changes.

  2. Attend STRS Ohio Seminars

    STRS Ohio provides free seminars to help you get the most out of your retirement and protect your hard-earned retirement income.

  3. Reevaluate your budget

    Your expenses have likely changed since you retired. It’s a good idea to periodically evaluate your expenses (travel; hobbies; increased utilities usage, etc.) against your retirement income and make any necessary adjustments to your budget.

  4. Take advantage of benefits and discounts

    Many money-saving discount opportunities are available to those age 55 and over on such items as travel, dining, entertainment, clothing, cell phone plans and groceries.
